My thoughts on our present state of affairs

So one day last week as I dragged myself through the horrible and tedious task of surviving another day as a fat black woman in this country, I realize that I had a HUGE problem. Actually I had many problems.
1) I was tired.
2) I was poor.
3) I was invisible{until I walked into a store, then boy-oh-boy was I visible!}.
4) I was frustrated at the judgements I had to endure at the hands of people who never even gave me a chance to be heard or seen.
5) The biggest problem of all. I was becoming angry.

Now being angry seems reasonable, but honestly, it can be a really bad idea for a fat black woman living in a small suburban town.
On a daily basis I witness injustices and ridiculous amounts of prejudices inflicted on the "odd, different & unnatural" citizens in this country and around the world. I started thinking about the way Gays and Lesbians are singled out and discriminated against constantly, the way people of non-white races are treated wrongly and stereotyped daily, how fat people are ridicule and put down regularly, the weird, the disabled the poor. We are all human yet all rejected by our own. How long do we need to smile and nod and just suck it up?  That thought process brought me to the realization that the "Perfect " people of this country are wrong, but more importantly they are the minority.
I wonder how many of us are here in the United States, feeling cut off from the rest of the country because we don't fit the mold properly.
So I was thinking that if we the Outside People, came together we could be heard. We could demand to be seen, demand to be respected, demand to be accepted into the place we rightfully earned by merely being born. We could take our place in the Human Race. Why stay separate when we share such a common atrocity. When we could accomplish so much more as one than we could as many.
Now I am a very non-violent person so mutiny isn't in the cards, I just think that the more voices there are the louder our statements become. Unity is strength. I think that we should come together and form our own peaceful race, we should become the Majority.
So whadda ya think???
